A young man who was convicted of two armed robberies and reportedly released due to items run in the Los Angels Times questioning his conviction and the evidence against him, along with an eye witness recanted their testimony has become the victim of a hit and run.

Arthur Paul Carmona aged 26 had served over two years before his release from prison in 2000 has now been killed in a hit and run accident.

According to reports a police spokesman from the Santa Ana Police Department said the police were called to a mobile home park in the 2100 block of West 1^st Street on Sunday. Arthur Carmona was found unconscious at approximately 4:30 am, he was transported to the Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Reports are the officer went onto say that witnesses stated that a fight had broken out with several guests involved at a party.
