Why You Need An Aggressive LA Attorney After A Los Angeles Motorcycle Accident

There are many reasons why you need an aggressive motorcycle accident attorney in Los Angeles after a motorcycle accident and some of the reasons why are because this type of accident the injuries are so much more severe than other types of accidents. Motorcycle accidents can leave riders with permanent and life-altering injuries, such as broken bones, paralysis, burns and traumatic head injuries. Motorcycle accidents are a well-known leading cause of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and this can have life long effects as well as be fatal in some motorcycle accident victims. These severe injuries do not only affect the rider, it also affects their family, causing worry, concern, loss of income and in some cases the loss of a loved one because of the injuries they sustained in the accident.

Is Shared Hosting a Smart Solution?

I hope that you like this new article about whether or not shared hosting is the best solution for your hosting issues…

Whether you are just getting started with your online presence or you a
veteran with many years online, shared hosting is probably one of the
cheapest and most effective ways of hosting your own site. The vast
majority of sites are all hosted on shared servers and there is a reason
that these plans are so popular. First and foremost, they are cheap, and
second, they usually have a decent set of features that make them
worthwhile to most site owners. However, is shared, cheapest
hosting
the smartest solution for your site? Let’s take a look at some
of the pros and cons of shared web hosting.

Pros

Low cost – Most shared web hosting plans cost less than $15 per month.
If you are just running a personal site or a blog, you really don’t
want to spend much money since you won’t be generating any income on your
site.

Feature Sets – Today, the majority of shared hosting companies offer
enough features that these plans are well worth the money. From
Fantastico to unlimited email and databases,  php web hosting support etc, you can usually find a shared hosting plan that offers
everything you need.

Decent Limits – For those with basic traffic needs, the bandwidth and
disk space on a shared hosting plan are more than sufficient.

Cons

Server Issues – This is mainly a problem when you are working with a
web hosting company that has too many people on one server. Each and
every site is sharing the resources on a server and sooner or later,
something has to give. Whether one site has a traffic spike or a DDOS attack
hits, everyone else on that server is going to suffer for it.

Security Problems – Although most shared servers are quite secure,
there are a few that have had some major issues. This is usually due to
sites that are using banned applications or if one site on the server is
hit with a malicious attack. As mentioned above, DDOS attacks are also
quite common and will affect the whole server, not just the targeted
site.

Not Enough Room to Grow – If you have an ecommerce site or your site
becomes very popular, a shared web hosting plan will usually not be
powerful enough to meet your needs. You’re going to need higher levels of
disk space and transfer as well as more processing power.

Conclusion

In the end, the answer of whether shared hosting is right for you can
only come from individual site owners. Every site is different and will
have different needs. For most, shared hosting is more than sufficient,
but for those with larger sites, a bigger solution such as a VPS or
Reseller hosting package is usually better suited.

Forecast of the Information Age

I recently read a fascinating book entitled ‘The Sovereign Individual’.
I had wanted to read it since ‘Rich Dad’ author Robert Kiysaki had listed it as an influential or important book in one of his own books. One of the authors was Lord Reese-Mogg, who specializes in global strategic investments and predictions
that can affect how to invest now with various trends in mind. One of his main points in the book is that there tends to be a major shift every 500 years or so in Western civilization.
For example, the year 1492 marks the official beginning of the industrial age, thus ending the feudal age, according to many historians. Some 500 years later, in 1992, the world wide web went wide, marking the beginning of the information age and the end of the industrial age.
According to Mogg, this shift will be more pronounced even than the shift to the agrarian or industrial age. This is because microprocessing will have a more fundamnetal impact on human society as a whole, over time. He says that by the year 2050 or so the world will look much different than
it does today, as many industrial age institutions either fade away or are severely modified. The impact of all this is debatable, but Mogg says big changes are inevitable. Just as the changes made from the invention of the printing press during the industrial age could not really be stopped once the genie was out of the bottle,
so too will the changes from microprocessing and a wireless world be. It is already happening, of course. Mogg and his co-author made the fascinating point that, during the beginning stages of these types of great shifts, those on the cusp (as we are now and the Europeans of 1492 were) rarely know what is happening,or just how dramatic the shift is going be.
At the time the first printing press was invented, for instance, the church had a virtual monopoly on printing and binding books, including the Bible. It was a labor intensive craft at that time would took a high level of skill. Few people really understood at the time the full ramifications of this invention in not only ushering in the end of the dominance by the church but also the positive impact
of having books available for the first time to the masses. Literacy shot up and very soon industrial manuals and standards could be codified and made uniform in many different localities.  A factory that made an industrial product in England, for example, could quickly be duplicated in France, Holland or Germany in a uniform way. Instruction manuals could be easily made universal for the first time.
The pace of growth quickly skyrocketed. By the the late eighteenth century the standard of living of most of the advanced industrial nations shot up exponentially. For the first time unskilled labor could move to the cities and earn a wage above the normal subsistance level so common in the agrarian-fuedal area. The Feudal era was dominated by guilds, in which a relatively small number of highly skilled individuals dominated crafts such as shoe-making and
commanded large earnings while the majority of people, peasant farmers as they were, earned a rather minimal living. Suddenly unskilled workers could go to work in a factory and actually earn a surplus. Large quantities of goods became available. General prosperity and an increased standard of living soon followed.
Now we are on the cusp of a similar era, except that microprocessing and th American invented world wide web has replaced the German invented printing press. The long term and even short term effects of this shift will be truly epic, especially as the cost of wireless networks continues to tumble around the world. One thing you can do is to embrace the information age by starting an information age business. Might I recommend Freelife International  They are global, they have Himalayan goji juice and you get a free web site when you join with them.

Bring on the Code Weavers?

More adobe photoshop news…Well, looks like that Super search firm from Mountain View, California is at it again…In a recent statement by the Google inc. they have employed a Code Weaver team to make some different Photoshop improvements that were specific for Wine in order to make Photoshop CS and CS2 perform on Linux desktops. Of course this may at first glance seem rather odd for them to have done this, but this particular action has indeed had the result of opening the said Wine program for superior use with the Linux based programs.

This Wine program is essentially just a type of Windows compatibility layer which makes running windows programs on Linux doable and while this is not perfect with the Code Weaver team it has gotten indeed superior. Those who have tested this since the Code Weaver team did their magic have nothing but praise and have even gone so far as to say they would be completely using Linux if it was not for the work this team had done to Photoshop CS and CS 2 software. Wow that is pretty high praise indeed Most of the statements from Linux users have been much the same, the ease of using this program now has Linux users quite happy overall.

Along with this team that had worked on the Photoshop CS and CS2 programs to secure the way they are able to run with Wine and Linux, they have also employed a large and highly skilled team of interns to work on fixing the other many patches that happen to number in the hundreds.   it will be nice to see that particular project come to a successful fruition.

All in all, this may in fact turn out to be one of Google’s top projects since the famous google analytics, which produces high quality web statistics so that they are able to monitor their websites progress by tracking search engine ranking, plus even back link count reports used with Google and other top search engines. This is often used to  replace or in turn act as a supplement to traditional counter or hosting based site statistics such as webalizer and analog traffic statistics which generally accoumpy the CPanel administrative page.
